Sarah Mitchiner, LCSW

Sarah E. Mitchiner, LCSW is a bilingual clinical social worker and Clinical Supervisor at Charlie Health, where she provides leadership, supervision, and direct therapeutic support to adolescents, young adults, and their families in an intensive outpatient (IOP) setting. With a deep commitment to integrated care and trauma-informed approaches, she specializes in addressing the biopsychosocial and environmental factors impacting mental health.

Before joining Charlie Health, Sarah was Associate Clinical Director at Mindhues, providing therapy to clients ages 5-25 and aiding in strategic planning. She also worked as a Clinical Social Worker at Children’s Hospital Colorado, offering support to families facing serious medical diagnoses and collaborating with organizations like Make-A-Wish. Additionally, Sarah was a School-Based Therapist at Community Reach Center, working with K-8 students on trauma and mental health, and a Mobile Crisis Therapist conducting emergency assessments in various settings. Sarah earned her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Educational Studies from Denison University. She also holds certifications in Psychological First Aid and Clinical Supervision.
